BREAKING: Massive Fraud Uncovered! EFCC Probes NSCDC Boss Over Alleged N7.5 Billion Diversion

According to insider sources, a staggering N7.5 billion is under investigation by the EFCC for alleged diversion by contractors linked to the Commandant General of the NSCDC, Ahmed Abubakar Audi. Shockingly, the entire sum was distributed within a mere five days and is suspected to have ended up in the accounts of Bureau De Change operators (BDCs), triggering intense scrutiny from investigators.

Reports reveal that payments were funneled to 20 contractors, with three major contractors pocketing a substantial N2 billion, each owning five companies. While most contractors have cooperated with the EFCC, one elusive woman, who received over N1 billion, has reportedly converted all funds into USD, complicating the investigation further.

In a twist, contractors confessed to receiving kickbacks totaling approximately N1 billion, allegedly to evade EFCC inquiries. Under mounting pressure, some contractors plan to protest at the NSA office, seeking intervention as they claim innocence, alleging that jobs were executed without their knowledge by NSCDC procurement officials.

Among the implicated contractors are Absolute Solutions MD, Cerise Ltd, and BNT Arm, who have long-standing ties with BDCs like Main One Global and Double Spec Agro. Sotitrech Computers and Jikol Multipurpose are also under scrutiny for fund transfers via One Al-Hikma Communications.

Furthermore, payments earmarked for NSCDC staff during elections were allegedly mismanaged, with reports suggesting underpayment compared to staff in sister agencies. The EFCC has summoned NSCDC officers, including Victor Fayemi and Anthony Akpan, for questioning starting May 2, 2024, signaling a pivotal turn in the investigation.
